POSITION SUMMARY
Manage, lead and develop the National Infant Nutrition Field Operations team and resources through setting and driving the National Infant Nutrition Field Operations strategy aligned with the National Marketing strategies, as well as global and regional requirements for a high-performing team to compliantly execute the strategy to meet the business objectives.
A DAY IN THE LIFE ...
• Compliance: Using the Code Management system for Iran as the guiding document to ensure that all activities within the team nationally comply with the WHO International Code for the Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes, Nestlé Instructions and the local Code.
• National strategy: Plan, execute and evaluate the National Operational Master Plan (OMP) and action plans based on business insights (demographics, HCI information, HCP information, competitor data and activity, market share, tender opportunities, sales-related data, recommendation and prescription data, consumer and HCP research, and MFF structure), the National business objectives, Medical Marketing cycle plan, and the available resources to ensure growth in market share and Nestlé product advocacy.
• People Management and Development: Create a team of high-performing MDs, first- and second-line managers that can deliver on the business results through skills-level evaluation, coaching, supporting and directing the management team to achieve the desired skills level for the global skills programmes (FOMPE/SIE), as well as the functional competencies for Management, and to support their career plans through the PDG to ensure optimal development and retention of high performers.
• National KOL identification, development and interactions with the aim of meeting the National OMP( Operational Master Plan) targets/objectives and increasing KOL advocacy.
• Management of the National MFF resources: Budget, MD tools of trade, detailing materials and samples as per the required processes and procedures to ensure compliance and meet the business targets.
• Ensure product availability in HCIs and for recommendation by HCPs by contributing to the monthly forecasting information to the Supply Chain team, based on the input of the Regional Managers on the needs of the HCIs and product availability in the different trade channels, relevant sales reports, and follow-up on order queries from institutions to the Customer Service team.
REQUIREMENTS
Key Experiences
At least 5 years in a Line Manager position in Field Operations with the associated people-management responsibilities of recruitment, coaching and performance management, as well as the strategic, business and resource-management responsibilities.
Long-term relationship building, KOL management and business negotiations.
Coordinating scientific meetings and presenting to groups.
Collaborating with all national, internal and external counterparts for insights and strategy-execution support.
Microsoft Office package.
