Main purpose of the job
Defining, coordinating and monitoring all care and nursing related activities in the project and ensuring the daily management of the human resources, according Mo SF nursing protocols, standards and procedures, in order to warrant efficiency, quality and continuity of prescribed care.

Responsibilities and tasks
• Organize and carry-out all nursing activities related universal health standards as well as MSF policies and protocols in order to warrant the quality and continuity of the health care: provide support and guidance to Nurse Team Supervisor regarding his/her tasks.
• Responsible for the implementation and observance of universal hygiene standards. Ensure strict observation of IPC measures: provide support and guidance to IPC Supervisor regarding IPC standards according to MSF protocols.
• In coordination with PMR, in order to ensure the smooth running of the Clinical activity, contribute to a good transversal communication between each department. Participates in the reflection and implementation of new activities inherent to its field of activity.
• Actively participates in the improvement and evaluation of the professional practices of the staff for which he/she is responsible,
• Ensuring teamwork and collaboration with the different services and departments,
• Ensures that the means are associated with the objectives requested from the Nurse Team Supervisor (NTS) and IPC Supervisor to enable them to carry out their tasks in an optimum manner,
• Organize regular one-to-one meeting with NTS and IPC Supervisor
• Ensure confidentiality of patients and all medical records,
• With the support of PMR, be involved in periodic purchase concerning the needs related to your field of activity
• For their respective fields of action, provide support and advice to IPC Supervisor and NTS for the elaboration and updates of protocols,
• If necessary, ensure that corrective actions are taken to achieve the objectives set,
• Participates in all professional meetings related to nursing activities, organization, strategy, POA, etc.
• To ensure a close collaboration with the PMR, for all activities within his field of competence, in clinic, mobile clinic, compulsory camp, outreach and other future activities,
• In collaboration with PMR and the NTS, ensure that the nursing care dispensed (implementation of procedures, reception, professional postures) is of high quality and complies with expectations: respect for the patient in his or her singularity, confidentiality of medical data, contribute to the fact that the clinic is also peaceful place, a refuge,
• Under the supervision of the MedCo and PMR, and with the collaboration of the NTS, ensures that first aid boxes for staff are restocked on a regular basis according to the fixed stock
• Responsible for ensuring, in the absence of a PMR or a MAM expat, the regular replenishment and updating of expat health boxes with the collaboration of the responsible pharmacist,
• In collaboration with the responsible pharmacist, and the NTS, ensure the follow-up of the medical stock: inventory/order/receipt/storage,
• Prepare monthly Excel tables for the follow-up of the consumption of the Drug Dispensary,
• In collaboration with the NTS, ensure the feasibility of the procedures prescribed by the doctors in terms of human resources, follow MSF protocols and guidelines when dispensing them, ensure good pain management, harmonies practices in terms of wounds dressings,
• In collaboration with the NTS, supervise the triage and flow of clinical and mobile clinic patients,
• In collaboration with the NTS ensure that all medical materials and equipment available in the departments are used and stored correctly, and maintenance is carried out according to MSF guidelines,
• Support the NTS in the collection and analysis of DATA and the monthly follow-up of the consumption,
• Ensure that the emergency equipment as well as the professionals are ready to respond to the medical emergency, performing minor procedures according to MSF guidelines: organize regular refreshment session for the Staff (ALS/BLS), if necessary updating of the drugs emergency list in accordance with the legislation in Iran, MOH,
• Ensure that detailed records of all patients' vital signs are taken and kept according to MSF protocols, maintaining patient confidentiality,
• Analyze and propose strategies to resolve identified stumbling blocks: reflections on pain management during wound dressings for example,
• In collaboration with IPC Supervisor ensure that the destruction of archives is in accordance with MSF recommendations,
• In collaboration with IPC Supervisor ensure that IPC protocols are correctly followed in accordance with MSF hygiene standards. Ensure that universal waste separation and infection control precautions are always followed according to MSF procedures,
• In collaboration with the IPC Supervisor ensure that all hygiene team equipment is in good working order, and ensure the renewing of unconsumable items,
• In collaboration with the IPC Supervisor ensure that hygiene products are available and stored according to safety regulations,
• Participate, in close collaboration with the HR department, in the associated HR processes for the staff involved in its activity (recruitment, training/induction, appraisal, potential detection, development and internal communication, creates written and practical tests and conducts recruitment interviews) in order to ensure an appropriate team in terms of size, capabilities and skills,
• Identify training needs (internal or external): propose a training plan to your team,
• Capacity building through training - On-the-job training (practical method of teaching skills, knowledge and competencies) to develop employee performance,
• Data verification, analysis and timely submission of monthly Sitrep and other reports requested by the PMR.

Specific requirements for the role:
Education: Essential nursing diploma for general or specialized health services (Bachelor in Science of Nursing Desirable
Experience: Essential working experience of at least five years in nursing activities related jobs. Desirable working experience in MSF or other NGO’s in developing countries
Languages: English and Farsi
Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
