Job Description

● Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate networks and in-house servers. ● Install and configure new server hardware and applications. ● Support and administer third-party applications. ● Ensure network security and connectivity. ● Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency). ● Resolve problems reported by end-users. ● Define network policies and procedures. ● Specify system requirements and design solutions. ● Solve user desktop issues, performs computer software installation, troubleshoot, solve email access and network issues. ● Day-to-day operational tasks such as proactive maintenance, management, monitoring performance, incident and problem management, security, and backup and recovery across the network infrastructure.

Requirements

● Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer, Information Technology or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. ● Familiar with Network+, CCNA, and MCSE concepts. ● Working knowledge with VMware ESXi. ● Two years of experience working as a Network Specialist for small to medium scale networks. ● Working knowledge of computer systems, peripherals, and communications equipment. ● Familiarity with setting up and configuring server hardware. ● Familiarity with monitoring software like Solarwinds, OpManager, PRTG, etc. ● Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies. ● Demonstrates capacity to adapt and learn in a dynamic work environment.
