Requirements
Education:
• BSc or MSc in Computer Engineering (Software, Hardware), IT or Computer Science
Basic skills required:
• The Ideal candidate will be an Engineer, who is a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure Hardware and Software Technologies
• Knowledge of windows server technologies
• Knowledge of common Linux distributions
• Basic Knowledge of network and information security concepts
Corer skills required:
• Should have Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting of switching technologies like STP, VTP, Multicast, QOS etc.
• Should have knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting of Routing Protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, PBR etc.
• Should have Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting of network security devices (firewall, IDS/IPS, etc.)
• Should have knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting of MPLS.
• Mandatory certification required CCNA (Routing, Switching) and CCNP certification will be an added advantage
• Familiar with products of common network technology vendors, like Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei, Mikrotik and etc.
Experience:
• Experience of managing medium and large networks
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience designing, deploying, configuring, support and Troubleshooting
Hands on experience on higher end Cisco switches and routers (Having experience with other well-known vendors like Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei and MikroTik have an extra distinction)
• Experience of working in enterprise data centers
• Experience on troubleshooting tools like Sniffer, Ethereal and Wireshark
