Job Description

Job Purpose:

The incumbent is responsible for supporting, taking care of, and promoting the quality/design/production of JTI display units to protect and enhance JTI's share of voice. She/He might travel to provinces 2-3 times every month He/She is responsible for preparing necessary reports for the managers. He/She is responsible for initiating new ways of auditing and routine back-checking the suppliers to ensure the delivered items quality, track installation, and maintenance procedures. The incumbent should have strong time and project management skills to fulfill requests, manage suppliers, and ensure they follow up and are committed to the plan and deadline. Moreover, supervision of the submitted budget in terms of tracking orders as well as payments should be in close coordination with the GIP, finance, and warehouse teams.

Areas of Responsibility:

Smoking Lounges:

  • Follow up on smoking room constructions/ renovations/overhaul.
  • Initiate ways to monitor and enhance smoking room functionalities and maintenance.
  • Support the merchandising manager in developing a merchandising strategy.
  • Routine unannounced visits to suppliers to ensure the production and services are fully aligned with the agreement and reports.

POSM Development and Production:

  • Support the merchandising manager in developing merchandising in initiating strategy including setting Regional Installation targets, production plans, annual budgeting, etc.
  • Regularly Follow up on agreed installation targets to ensure the sales team is delivering based on the agreed plan and adjust targets if necessary.
  • Follow up on agreed production plans with suppliers to ensure suppliers are delivering products based on agreed quality and agreed deadline.
  • Suggest and follow up on continuous improvement in the design, quality, and structure of units by constantly getting feedback from the field on the usage and versatility of the productions.
  • An unannounced visit to the supplier to ensure production is based on agreed raw materials and agreed processes.

Asset Management:

  • Follow/initiate asset management processes i.e.
  • Installation processes and cost tracking.
  • Optimization guidelines.
  • POSM destruction processes.
  • Maintenance/repairing processes.

Budget Management:

  • Initiate PR/PO and GRs.
  • Follow up on spending, and remaining budgets and flag underspend or overspend timely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Communication, Business, or related fields is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory working experience in the FMCG/pharmaceutical industry in a sales or marketing team.
  • Technical view of interior design and construction.
  • Construction material knowledge.
  • Be a self-starter and work independently producing accurate work systems.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
