Draft purchase orders, and review requests for materials or equipment, and services.
Buy the highest quality goods at the lowest possible price and in the right quantities.
Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations.
Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, reputation, and history of suppliers.
Negotiate, renegotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other agents.
Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
Monitor shipments to ensure that goods arrive on time.
Report to the business manager.
Probation period: 3 months.
Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday from 8 am to 5 pm; Overtime if necessary.
Travel requirements: Yes, depending on the need.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university is preferred.
At least ten years of relevant work experience in international markets or domestic trade.
