Position Logistics Coordinator
Grade 7
Reports to Area Manager
Supervision Logistics and Procurement Assistant
Duty station Area South
Travel up to 30 percent
Contract 3 months probation with possible extension

Role and Responsibilities

Logistics Coordinator implements logistics activities including procurement warehouse fleet distribution asset management and market analysis

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with NRC policies guidelines SOPs and donor requirements
Implement logistics systems and procedures at area level
Coordinate planning and management of logistics activities
Ensure SOP procedures are followed and checked regularly
Coordinate market assessments
Prepare reports and analysis
Maintain proper filing of documents
Support managers with procedures and training
Manage logistics team including recruitment and performance
Ensure transparency cost efficiency and anti corruption in all processes
Ensure safe transport of staff and goods
Support protection and program development

Specific Tasks

Lead and monitor procurement activities according to NRC procedures
Review contracts purchase orders and payments for compliance
Ensure procurement documents are complete for audits
Develop and implement procurement plans
Submit monthly logistics KPI reports
Coordinate with programme teams to meet deadlines

Competencies

Experience as logistics coordinator in humanitarian context
Experience in complex environments
Proven results in similar roles
Leadership awareness
Fluency in English is a must
Valid driving license

Preferred

Team management and conflict management skills
Knowledge of Iran market
Relevant university degree
Experience in supply chain procurement contracts fleet warehouse
Training and workshop facilitation skills
ICT skills including Excel PowerPoint ERP systems
Strong reporting skills
