• Day to day 3rd Party Due Diligence and trade control. • Provide legal counsel on economic crimes, sanctions, trade control, and global regulatory compliance. • Ensuring adherence to Unilever’s legal and corporate standards, including the Code of Business Principles. • Manage legal and commercial risks in accordance with Unilever’s legal and risk management policies. • Draft research papers, decision papers, Memos and proposals on Economic Sanctions, Trade Control, AML, and Cross-Border Business. • Business partnering with other functions.
Requirements:
• At least master’s degree in law. • A minimum of 10 years of experience in legal operations or similar role. • Proven leadership in delivering legal services in-house or via outsourced models. • Strong commitment to consistency, process excellence, and customer focus. • Outcome-driven mindset with high emotional intelligence. • Ability to perform under pressure. • Adaptability in client-led cultures and openness to change. • Exceptional communication skills in English. • Strong research and analytical skills.
