Job Description
- Provide specialized legal advice in the field of oil and gas contracts, EPC, BOT projects and other contract models.
- Draft, review, and monitor domestic and international contracts in accordance with energy industry standards.
- Manage legal disputes, commercial arbitrations and interact with domestic and international legal advisors.
- Monitor and analyze laws and regulations in the fields of oil, gas, energy, environment, taxation, and international trade.
- Ensure compliance of all company activities with legal requirements, upstream and regulatory provisions.
- Participate in negotiation meetings with business partners, employers and domestic and foreign contractors.
- Develop organizational legal policies, processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (preferably in international trade law or oil and gas law).
- At least seven years of relevant work experience, including three years of management experience in oil and gas companies.
- Thorough knowledge of international contract law, energy regulations, and international commercial arbitration (ICC and UNCITRAL).
- Familiarity with common contractual structures in oil and gas projects (FIDIC, PSA, JOA).
- Ability to conduct legal analysis, manage a team, and provide comprehensive legal solutions in complex situations.
- Fluency in legal English, international correspondence, and documentation.
