Provides legal advice to internal business stakeholders concerning transnational agreements and all contracts.
Drafts and reviews agreements and documents assuring that respective legal policies and strategies followed, while identifying opportunities to improve contract templates and the standard contract terms.
Leads or assists with the resolution of contractual disputes.
Plans and provides training to internal clients on designated legal topics relates to contracts.
Maintains contract automation and management systems.
Monitors contract expiration or renewal dates.
Proactively conducts legal research to find optimal legal solutions in various contractual relations.
Ensures that contract files/databases for all agreements maintained properly.
Continuously evaluates and supports to update contracting relevant processes and procedures.
Requirements
Advanced law degree.
More than four years of strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, including experience with commercial agreement matters in a law firm or in-house counsel setting.
Experience in dispute resolution.
Subject matter expertise on key legal topics including liability, indemnities, intellectual property, and data protection.
Experience with standard forms of contracts and agreements.
Superb oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well as part of a team with other lawyers, internal clients, compliance, and other partners.
Ability to efficiently prioritize and handle multiple requests from internal clients.
Strong sense of ethics, integrity, and sound judgment.
Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to a cross-functional team.
