Kubernetes Specialist

Job Description

Design and Implementation:

• Architect and implement containerized solutions using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and microservices.
• Design and implement container orchestration strategies for scalability and reliability.

Deployment and Management:

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of containerized workloads.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containerized applications and infrastructure.

Automation and CI/CD:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
• Integrate container orchestration into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement security best practices for containerized environments.
• Work with the security team to ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.

Monitoring and Optimization:

• Set up monitoring and logging for containerized applications.
• Optimize resource utilization and performance of Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.

Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security.
