The position:

As a key account manager at Novo Nordisk Iran - Tehran, the role involves ensuring product availability and managing stock across provinces in collaboration with distributors, following Novo Nordisk's vision, values, and strategies. The role includes aligning with commercial managers and adhering to IFDA regulations while implementing NNPARS sales strategies nationwide. Responsibilities include defending the company's sales and marketing strategies, optimizing product distribution with a patient-centric approach, and ensuring fair access across the country. Additionally, the role involves negotiating with IFDA and local universities and facilitating Key Account pharmacy supply chains to secure the optimal distribution of Novo Nordisk products.

Other role expectations are as follows:

  • Strategic Distribution Management: Ensure optimal, fair, and strategic distribution of products in collaboration with distributors, following Novo Nordisk Iran's strategies and business objectives.
  • Sales and Stock Oversight: Maintain close follow-up with distributors' branches to manage sales and stock levels, ensuring timely product availability and preventing stock issues.
  • Alignment and Coordination: Strengthen alignment between distributors and local FDOs, facilitate coordination with the sales team, and enhance the distribution plan's effectiveness to support market expansion.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and sustain solid relationships with key clients, address their complaints, and act as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams.
  • Reporting and Collaboration: Compile reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts, and ensure intra-functional collaboration among the KAM team to align tasks with overall targets and reinforce synergy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Economics, or similar fields.
  • At least 5 years of sales force experience in the pharmaceutical business/FMCG.
  • English fluency is required, with strong communication skills to deal with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team player who believes in teamwork and the power of synergy, with a problem-solving attitude and analytical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software.
