Job Description
- Manage order registration process through the NTSW, shipment insurance, and necessary follow-ups with local authorities.
- Monitor all the steps of importation as well as the clearance process to ensure maximum compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Check and update the tariff code and customs duty of imported goods.
- Ensure obtaining an allocation of FOREX with the official rate.
- Create and manage effective communication and close collaboration with all stakeholders, to ensure smooth supply operations.
- Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and those goods meet specifications.
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
- Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
Requirements
- Familiar with all payment terms through CBI including NIMA, export currency, CBI, and FM rate currency.
- Familiar with HS categories and IRC priorities.
- Familiar with export processes, temporary importation, and needed permissions.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management, or Economics.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Good knowledge of Iran's import/export process.
- INCOTERMS knowledge.
- Currency allocation process.
- Familiar with working with NTSW.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Fluent in MS Office.
- Negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Time management skills.
- Stress management skills.
