Job Description

This vacancy is a great career opportunity concerning a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility associated with a European group. Role description: ● Responsible for ensuring the operations of standard approved procedures for planning, execution, and documentation of Maintenance, calibration, monitoring of equipment performance, and training of technical service department personnel. ● Monitor the status of maintenance work orders with relevant SOPs, participate in inspections by regulatory authorities and audits, and improve the effectiveness and productivity of the technical services department by investigating and implementing technologies, tools, and systems, in the field of condition monitoring and equipment maintenance and any other duties as assigned in accordance with the needs of the department and company. ● Report directly to the board of directors and matrix report to the senior group manager of engineering validation. Factory Location: Kordan, 10 Km of Karaj-Qazvin freeway, Alborz.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; a Master's degree will be considered an advantage. ● Minimum 5 years of experience in the same position in pharmaceutical or similar industry. ● Experience in the GMP manufacturing facility will be a considerable asset. ● Experience in the maintenance and operation of HVAC systems, compressed air systems, chilled and hot water systems, steam boilers, and steam plant systems is a prerequisite. ● Electrical and Electronics knowledge for candidates coming from a Mechanical Engineering background is a must. ● Mechanical knowledge for candidates coming from an Electrical Engineering background is a must. ● Working knowledge of equipment maintenance and problem-solving is essential. ● Working knowledge of instrument calibration to set up a Metrology lab is essential. ● Previous work experience in managing people is a must. ● Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach. ● Fluency in English is a must. ● Strong computer proficiency. ● Ability to travel for short-term and medium-term duration trips is also a necessity.
