Job Description

The company needs someone for this position for: The geomechanical study, wellbore stability analysis, and supervision of all related rock mechanical tests; Wellbore study modeling while drilling and while production extract the drawdown envelope of wells. ● Participate in geomechanical study and provide related reports. ● Participate in preparing and presenting technical reports, related to the geomechanical study. ● Cooperate in rock mechanics and rock physics tests supervision and monitoring. ● Support operational geology/ drilling engineering segments through drilling operations. ● Cooperate in pore pressure and wellbore stability studies. ● Cooperate in the preparation of tender documents for geomechanical tests (core and well). ● Contribute to preparing technical reports related to PE in English and Farsi.

Requirements

● Master's degree or a Ph.D. in Rock Mechanics, Mining Engineering, Petrophysics, or Geophysics. ● Proficiency in geomechanical software (Stonefish, Techlog, Visage, etc.). ● Sufficient proficiency in rock mechanics, geomechanical modeling, and rock mechanical tests. ● Sufficient knowledge of subsurface geology, petrophysics, and drilling topics. ● Ability to report and present. ● The ability of decision-making on technical issues. ● Fluency in English, reading, writing, conversation, and comprehension.
