
Job Description
The General Software Project Manager (GSPM) is responsible for the Application (Web & Mobile) development lifecycle in the planning, development, launch, and closure phases of a program. Also you are responsible for overall project execution and the implementation of agreed project commitments in terms of scope, quality, budget, human resources and timeline in our project. As a GSPM your responsibilities are: - Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables - Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards - Prepare project daily/weekly/monthly written progress reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends - Establish and execute a project communication plan - Prepare project schedule (master and detailed) - Manages internal and external project personnel, various stakeholders, and any other resources identified to be needed for project success - Monitors and coordinates the progress of the operational project tasks assigned to each department or individual owner - Identifies all potential risks to the project and develops mitigation plans where required - Reports to the CEO.
Requirements
- B.S. /M.Sc degree in Computer science, IT, Computer engineering, MBA or any other related fields. - A minimum of 4 years of experience in agile software development using techniques such as scrum ceremonies, user stories, use cases, personas, scrum testing, unit testing, and devOps. - Experience with different project management, reporting, user story, defect management and testing tools such as Microsoft Project, MS Office, SharePoint, Visio. - At least Knowledge of one Programming Language Like C or Java is a Must (Especially For MBA Applicants). - Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, and collaboration skills. - Strong analytical skills and technical acumen. Ability to decompose high-level information into details on the one hand, and abstract up from low-level information on the other hand. - Ability to distill true requirements, dependencies, and priorities. - Ability to intelligently and appropriately challenge assumptions from business partners, and articulate consequences and impact of significant change requests or emerging risks. - Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people, including executives, managers, end users, business customers, technical architects, developers, designers, PMO/program managers, and subject matter experts. - Understanding and knowledge of unique factors and challenges of developing mobile applications in relation to traditional applications and websites. - PMI PMP or PMI-ACP certification is a Plus. - Experience in successful E-business or startup is a Plus. - Certified Scrum Master Certification is a Plus.
