Responsibilities:
● Prepare all necessary reports and documents and detailed support both monthly and on-demand, including balance sheets, insurance of employees, taxes of incomes, profit and loss, salaries of staff statements, revenue forecasts, budgets, and cash-flow statements.
● Record all accounting transactions.
● Prepare budget forecasts at the beginning of the month.
● Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
● Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
● Ensure timely bank payments.
● Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
● Prepare and keep balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
● Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
● Audit financial transactions and documents.
● Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
● Comply with financial policies and regulations.
● Examine bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries.
● Examine expenses submitted by employees.
● Keep an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable.
● Analyze data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue.
● Examine the proficiency of the software programs used to organize data.
● Generate financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity, and cash flow.
● Procurement of items for the company in the line with the policies and regulations.
Requirements
Requirements:
● Working knowledge of accounting software platforms.
● Natural proficiency with or passion for mathematics.
● Detail-oriented and deadline-oriented.
● Extensive knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S.)
● Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
● Work experience as an Accountant.
● Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
● Hands-on experience with accounting software.
● Advanced MS Excel.
● Experience with general ledger functions.
● Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
● BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degrees.
● Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
