Control (ESD & DCS)/Instrumentation/F&G Systems Engineer: Roles: ● Review specifications and calculations of Control/Instrumentation/F&G systems projects and prepare project detail design engineering documents. ● Implement all Control/Instrumentation/F&G systems projects tasks. ● Prepare project internal/external progress reports. ● Review specifications and calculations of control/F&G Systems Tenders, propose required and appropriate materials and prepare relevant engineering documents and technical solutions. ● Negotiate with suppliers/manufacturers to get quotations and collect information needed for technical and financial proposals of control/F&G systems tenders. ● Communicate with clients/consultants for technical clarifications of sontrol/F&G Systems of projects/tenders to meet their requirements. ● Supervise installations and commissioning of control/F&G systems of projects, where applicable. ● Report to the F&G/SCADA manager. ● Probation period: 3 months. ● Working hours: Saturday to Tuesday from 8 am to 5 pm; Wednesday from 8 am to 4 pm. ● Travel requirements: Occasionally; inside the country.
University qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Electrical Engineering, Power Electrical Engineering, Electronic Electrical Engineering, or other related fields. Nature and length of previous experience: ● At least 2 years of experience in Control (ESD & DCS)/Instrumentation Systems. ● Experience in F&G Systems is a plus. ● Experience in similar roles is a plus. ● Experience in Oil and Gas projects is a plus. ● Experience in commissioning ESD and DCS Systems is a plus. Specialist knowledge: ● Experience in Control Systems and PLC programming. ● Familiar with Fire Alarm Systems, and Gas Detection. ● Familiar with NFPA 72 relevant standards. ● Familiar with industrial projects and their Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). ● Fluent in English. ● Good in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
