
Job Description
Summary: Directs, administers, and coordinates the internal/external operational activities of the FEC(Family Entertainment Center) in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors. Leads and directs the facility: staff management, custodial operations, information systems, facilities planning and maintenance, and other office support services. Assists the CEO in the development of organization policies and goals that cover operations. Responsibilities: • Directs FEC operations to achieve sales targets and other financial criteria, and to preserve the capital funds invested in the enterprise. • Responsible for the FEC’s day-to-day operating activities. • Participates in the development and preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon broad organization goals and objectives recommends their adoption to the Chief Executive Officer. • Directs staff training and develops the installation of procedures and controls, to raise customer/visitor satisfaction and adequate information flow, and thereby solidify management control and direction of the enterprise. • Develops and establishes operating policies consistent with the CEO’s broad policies and objectives and insures their adequate execution. Appraises and evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically, and reports these results to the CEO • Direct and participate in acquisition and growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans.
Requirements
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, negotiation, analyzing and presentation skills. • Solid working knowledge of budgeting, business development, staff management and strategic planning. • A true team player having the ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies. • At least 5 years of operational management experience, preferably in businesses dealing with hospitality and/or amusement parks, with 2 in an executive level position. • Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, busy environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems; ability to work long hours and maintaining high energy levels. • Fluency in English language. Turkish is an advantage.
