
Job Description
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Export Development Manager to lead the expansion of our products into the Russian market. The ideal candidate has strong experience in FMCG exports, excellent negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of Russian market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion & Strategy:
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the Russian market.
Develop and execute market-entry strategies aligned with the company’s product portfolio.
Build distribution networks and partnerships with local distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Develop sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Lead contract negotiations with key customers and business partners.
Customer & Partner Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with distributors, key accounts, and stakeholders.
Provide excellent customer service and proactively resolve issues.
Market Insights & Competitor Analysis:
Conduct market research to understand consumer trends and FMCG dynamics.
Monitor competitors and recommend actions to strengthen market position.
Brand Development:
Collaborate with marketing teams to adapt campaigns and promotional plans for the Russian market.
Represent the brand in trade shows, exhibitions, and local marketing activities.
Compliance & Regulations:
Ensure full compliance with Russian import/export regulations and food safety standards.
Stay updated on relevant trade policies and regulatory changes.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and key challenges.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure smooth market operations.
Candidate Profile
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or related fields.
Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
Experience:
5–8 years of experience in export management, business development, or sales within FMCG.
Previous work experience with the Russian market is highly preferred.
Language Skills:
Fluency in Russian is mandatory.
Good command of English is an advantage.
