Job Description

The purpose of this role is to prepare estimation and bids to customers in the Oil & Gas sector for projects relating to rotating & oilfield equipment e.g. establishing material availability, project time-scales and ensuring cost effectiveness. Other requirements of the role will be to: - Co-ordinate with Sales team to convert customer enquiries into quotations. - Propose submission date and update Sales team with time scales or bid extension requirements. - Liaise with production to assess material pricing/availability and labor requirements and contribute to repair & quality procedures. - Ensure cost effectiveness of material/components used. - Produce costing sheet for every enquiry and prepare quote to issue to Sales team. - Interpret customer drawings and specifications. - Liaise with customers to finalise work scopes, interpret their technical requirements.

Requirements

Qualification/s: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Language/s: English & Farsi is the main working language of the Company Skills & Experience: Previous experience with Rotating Equipment and/or Oilfield Equipment for trouble shooting, re-engineering, modification or design etc Previous estimating experience within a workshop/jobbing shop environment with knowledge of fabrication Familiar with HSE Standards and Behavior Familiar with LEAN principles and quality excellence is an advantage Evidence of good communication skills, mathematic & computing skills Evidence of a pro-active, energetic and driven personality who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure business success.
