Job Description
• This position represents an opportunity to help develop a messaging platform with the voice, video, mobility, presence and other telecommunication features. It means that as a software engineer with experience in Erlang and Ejabberd, you would be responsible for managing the core messaging and presence platform in a large scale distributed environment. • Your responsibilities will include designing and developing new features and capabilities in the Erlang based components
Requirements
• Familiar with basic software engineering and developing solutions, frameworks and platforms. • Design, planning, implement, configure and deploy Erlang base server side application and Ejabberd • Having experience with Erlang and OTP programming • Familiar with XMPP protocol • Database programming with mysql, postgreSql and mnesia database. • Architect and develop scalable, distributed solutions for emerging platform features • Develop solutions using distributed concurrent programming, and scalable applications • Good experience in developing Web Services using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) • Expert in Linux and BSD operation systems • Excellent organizational and documentation skills • Self-learner
