Job Description

English teacher, either for Adults, Kids, or IELTS preparatory classes, is responsible to offer quality lessons conforming to standards and the school regulations. Teachers will be observed on a regular basis and will be given feedback. Teachers and instructors at the Plus Academy are expected to professionally welcome the feedback given to them and enhance their teaching techniques. Main responsibilities: ● Offering lessons for different courses: Adults, Young Learners, and/or IELTS Preparatory. ● Being well-prepared for each session. ● Attending TMs, OJTs, and workshops. ● Welcoming feedback from the management - Being dynamic and delivering lively lessons. ● Showing professionalism in interaction with all colleagues.

Requirements

● High command of English. ● Awareness of teaching methodologies. ● At least a year of experience as an English teacher (more experienced applicants may be considered as potential educational officers or branch supervisors). ● Holding a TTC certificate (applicants with no ELT experience or training background may be advised to take part in the TTC.). ● International teaching certificate: CELTA by Cambridge or Cert. TESOL by Trinity will be a determining advantage. ● Relevant university degree will be an advantage.
