Job Description

Must have a thorough knowledge of drilling engineer, good technical knowledge of well planning, drilling programs and well operations Candidate should have been involved with drilling engineer, completion & production engineering, drilling programs and well planning. Must be proficient in computer and software, have developed numerous complex for engineering work highest ethical standards, good relationship, honesty and integrity. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following: 1- Well and completion planning in accordance with the Well Delivery Process. 2- Provide planning schedules for all drilling programs (Directional / Horizontal). 3- Track schedules and monitor implementation to schedule. 4- Provide initial well timelines for planning purposes, highlight risks, and include suitable mitigation, drilling time curves, and initial cost estimates. Review with drilling superintendent, drilling project cost, cost control while drilling and contract for purchasing of laud rig & Jack-up and drilling manager. 5- Provide proper technical and commercial input to tender documents for services and products. 6- Evaluate tenders both technically and commercially with appropriate recommendations. 7- Provide detailed Scope of Work for drilling services. 8- Carry out contracts management. 9- Acquire planning data from geology, reservoir engineering or geophysics as necessary. 10- Carry out offset well data analysis. 11- Design drilling/completion and work-over programs (deepwater operations) . 12- Recommend means of avoiding drilling problems such as how to ensure well bore stability, tackling lost circulation and stuck pipe. 13- Work with various service vendors to ensure plans are achievable. 14- Review with engineer on DIMS the provision of End of Well reports. 15- Provide engineering support/advise to the rig on program implementation. Check and sign job tickets (not invoices) from service contractors. 16- BHA / Drill string design, cement slurry design / specifications / cementing procedures. 17- Bit selection / ROP optimization and hydraulics optimization / completion fluid system formulation. 18- Well Head / BOP equipment design / specifications. 19- Drilling procurement engineer (OCTG, BIT, Liner hanger well head, Completion programs & string). 20- Well cost estimation, drilling project cost, cost control while drilling and contract for purchasing of laud rig & Jack-up. 21- Support and work with subsurface team on well engineering aspects of field development plan (FDP). Same position is also available in Kish.

Requirements

1- Educational background: B.SC. in Drilling Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or relevant Engineer 2- Minimum of 8-12 years well engineering and operational experience. 3- Computer skills: Good knowledge of computer and relevant software 4- English skills: Very good knowledge of English (writing. speaking, reading)
