*Role Overview:
- We are seeking a driven and strategic District Sales Manager (DSM) to lead and develop our Diabetes sales team within the assigned district.
- The DSM will play a key role in driving regional sales performance, ensuring the effective execution of marketing strategies, and building strong scientific relationships with healthcare professionals involved in diabetes management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of medical representatives in the diabetes therapeutic area to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement district-level sales strategies aligned with company objectives and brand marketing plans.
- Conduct regular field visits and performance evaluations to monitor team activities and provide continuous training and feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with endocrinologists, diabetologists, general practitioners, and diabetes care centers.
- Analyze sales performance, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, and supply chain teams to ensure effective execution of product launches and field campaigns.
- Organize and oversee regional scientific events, diabetes workshops, and CME programs.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations in all activities.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on district performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, medicine, life sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role — Proven experience in the diabetes field is required.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities with healthcare professionals.
- Solid understanding of the diabetes market, treatment trends, and patient management approaches.
- Proficiency in data analysis, CRM systems, and digital field tools.
- Fluent in English and the local language, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned district.
