Job Description

• Database tuning experience. Help us make our database faster by running diagnostics and doing query optimization and other performance tuning. • Ability to work in an Agile environment. • Knowledge and know-how to troubleshoot potential issues, and experience with best practices around database operations. • Evaluate and Recommend database implementation options for deployment • Develop and Implement database security Features.(Roles , authentication , encryption) • Create physical database/Schemas from logical design • Manage database physical storage and structures • Control system resources usage and perform capacity planning. • Perform RMAN backup and Recovery.(Tape and Disk) • Installing and configuring Oracle Internet Directory (OID). • Develop and implement database backup and recovery solutions. • Installing and configuring Oracle Grid Control Server. • Installing Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) • Manage Standby Database including Physical or Logical Oracle Data Guard • Setup Oracle Replication services such as Golden gate, Advanced Replication … • Define Scheduled job for various operation • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics activities • Applying Patch to solve the bugs, and the CPU patches • Identify and Implement database technologies and utilities • Strong SQL expertise • SQL server administration experience. Running Microsoft SQL Server — users, permission, backups, recovery, monitoring, and that sort of thing. • Ability to create SQL reports.
