Job Description
● Configure, optimize, and support Oracle and Postgres relational databases with a focus on reliability, availability, scalability, and maintainability.
● Design, develop and implement complex database systems, programs, and applications.
● Design, develop and maintain transactional databases and data warehouses.
● Create and maintain SQL stored procedures.
● Create and maintain user-defined functions.
● Job management of automation tasks.
● Manage and maintain the databases, perform troubleshooting and tuning when necessary.
● Participate in the design or planning of new databases and related technology.
● Implement ODI, OGG, jobs, or scripts to support the applications and interfaces between them.
● Work closely with Business and analytical staff to define new project requirements.
● Work with users to identify and develop system requirements taking into account security best practices, desired results, hardware limitations, and operating requirements.
