Job Description
- Conducting accurate product Classifications, Valuation, Country of Origin/Marking, Record keeping & interpreting Customs regulations, private letter ruling and binding tariff information rulings. - Supporting the Customs and Trade Compliance Coordinator in managing full compliance for all importation and exportation operations. - Maintaining updated repository of required regulatory licenses and permits for importation and exportation. - Preparing legal documentation required for customs clearance and obtaining appropriate sign off. Disseminate to relevant parties without any delays affecting the shipment /deliveries, - Ensure and confirm Customs Clearance documentation requirement being requested and complied. - Ensure status on customs requirement being clearly communicated with relevant stakeholders once shipping decision made and shipment affected. - Providing clearance status for all relevant Stakeholders. Ensure mitigation actions are all in place for problematic shipment.
Requirements
- Experience with importing/exporting, logistics, knowledge of international trade law regulations, supply chain operations, and the global trade compliance network to apply laws to trade procedures. - Regional knowledge of global Free Trade Agreements and Free Trading Zones and ability to use and apply to products across geographic locations - Bachelors Degree in a relevant field, Masters degree preferable. - Fluency in English (Intermediate written and spoken, ability to sustain an active business correspondence) + additional languages desirable. - Minimum 5 years of experience in the Logistics Sector. - Expert Knowledge of EPL and TSC systems and Sabtaresh. - Expert knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc). - Preferable experience working in international business, being familiar with cultural differences and implementing a friendly approach to personalized problem solving. - Demonstrated strong analytical and communication/team work skills. - Commitment to the team, willing to produce successful results efficiently, ready for challenges and mastering existing knowledge.
