To maintain Cloud NFV platforms such as Cloud SPS/IMS/HSS/UDM.
To cooperate with Manage Services vendors to ensure that the Core Network is operated according to management requirements.
To communicate with mobile operators and service providers to resolve interconnection issues. To interface with other national operators and other operational regions for cooperating in resolving the inter-operator issues
To handle related regulatory tasks related to network CS/IMS Core operation.
To collaborate with the ITS department to enhance inter-department negotiations and cooperation, and enhance network KPIs and operational procedures in related areas.
To participate in ATP test meetings, assess the test results, and review Core delivery documents such as BOQ, HLD, LLD, and Asset Sheet during the handover process.
To monitor CS/IMS Core Trouble Tickets (TT), as agreed in their Managed Services, the Service Level Agreements (MS SLAs), and escalating to the line manager.
To collaborate with other departments to solve and improve their requirements, and communicate with departments for performing operational plans effectively.
To track day-to-day operational issues, failures, and capacity of the Core network and coordinate planned work.
To supervise Core Network health checks, software and license loading, patch upgrade, and hardware expansion.
To support developing service monitoring functions and KPI mechanisms to ensure that the vendors deliver the agreed performance for the Core nodes.
To monitor, check and improve preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in Core CS/IMS from both hardware and software perspectives.
To analyze network failures and escalate important ones to higher managers in the Core CS/IMS domain.
To monitor resource utilization and dimensioning and report to the line manager and Core planning team.
To review all changes, incidents, problem tickets, and operation logs related to the Core network.
To perform a health check of all new services into the CoreCS/IMS network and create related documentation.
To implement root cause analysis to identify network failures and follow up with MS and improve subscriber experience by enhancing the network KPIs.
To create dashboards and monitor regarding Network KPI of all Core CS/IMS nodes.
To monitor Change Requests (CRs) in Core CS/IMS to ensure results are based on the expectation.
To learn and update DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) for the Core CS/IMS network.
To support the Core CS/IMS Operation Manager in the meetings and provide technical reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Telecommunication Engineering or related fields
Fluent in English
At least 3 years of experience in the telecom area, especially in the Network CS/IMS Core domain.
Knowledge of CS Network Elements: MSS, MGW, STP, HLR.
Knowledge of CS Basic Procedures: MO/MT Call, MO/MT SMS, and Location Update.
Knowledge of IMS Network Functions: CSCF, TAS, MGCF, SPS, SBC, ENS, and HSS.
Knowledge of IMS Basic Procedures: Registration, Basic Call, Session Setup, and SMS.
