Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, hardworking, highly skilled, creative experienced contract manager who is responsible for preparing, negotiating, and recording business contracts on behalf of the organization. His duties include drafting and researching a contract’s terms, alerting parties to renewals or extensions, and tracking all communications between the management and various accounts. The contract manager conducts fee negotiations, and drafts and revises policies and operating guidelines as necessary. The contract manager works to ensure that legal documents move smoothly and quickly from creation, through collaboration and negotiation, to signature. Once the contract is signed, the contract manager is responsible for making sure contracts are stored securely and in an organized manner. The contract manager will then ensure the timely delivery of contract deliverables and collection of payments. Furthermore, the contract manager will have proven experience and achievement in the management and review of the contractual aspects of Oil and Gas projects and evidence of successful negotiations of substantial claims and variations. Responsibilities: ● Review, draft, negotiate and manage contracts in compliance with the policies and standards. ● Support the tender, proposal, and sales group in the contractual activities associated with the client’s tender requirements including all associated subcontract requirements from receipt of tender inquiry to contract award. ● Support the project group on contractual matters during the contract execution phase when so required. ● Review draft contracts and identify risks and provide possible mitigations. ● Support the management team in the identification and assessment of all identified contractual risks, and when applicable, prepare and distribute deviation approval forms in order to obtain the appropriate written approvals for any deviations from the company policies and standards. ● Manage, coordinate, and follow up on all corporate, contractual, and legal-related matters. ● Attend internal and external customer meetings via telephone, videoconference, or in person. ● Manage, maintain, and upload all assigned contractual and commercial documentation within the company's proprietary Contracts Workspace system or equivalent. ● Provide training and workshops on Legal policies, standards, and methodologies to relevant stakeholders. ● Provide timely and informed support to key internal stakeholders of all levels, including sales, legal, finance, commercial and tender, and projects. ● Prepare contractual and commercial aspects of any tenders, in consultation with the user departments. ● Prepare and compile tender/contract documentation, with legal and finance groups to ensure viability, legality, interpretation, and ease of administration. ● Prepare commercial evaluation reports and recommendations. ● Prepare contracts for all goods and services requirements as requested by the user departments, ensuring review and approval by the relevant parties. ● Manage schedules and work to tight deadlines. ● Provide responsive professional support to customers and other personnel. ● Play a leading and pivotal role in supporting the project executives, leaders, and project managers in monitoring and controlling the performance of contracted services to ensure. ● Identify potential claims, check for compliance with applicable contractual terms, and ensure effective negotiation and settlement of claims. ● Oversee the financial budget to ensure the cost-effectiveness and value for money of contracts. ● Responsible for all financial contract management activities including the review and the approval of payment certificates, and invoicing from subcontractors and to the client. ● Responsible for the timely preparation of legal and contractual documents such as Request for Proposals (RFP) and other legal or contractual documents. ● Provide support and advice on new potential business opportunities. ● Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes. ● Craft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions. ● Create and maintain relationships with clients and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts. ● Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress. ● Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters. ● Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal according to what’s best for the company. ● Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself. ● Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met. ● Work closely with the business development team on the cost estimation of new projects. ● Work closely with the finance team for the payment follow-up and ensure timely payment receipt from clients. Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Law, Management, Economics, or other related fields. ● Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields. ● Able to demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level of knowledge and understanding of methods, processes, and systems in Oil and Gas Industries. ● Understanding of common Oil and Gas industries terminology and nomenclature as well as various project types and systems. ● Demonstrate effective written and verbal English communication skills. ● Ability to use judgment, problem‐solving ability, self‐starting, and ability to prioritize based on relevant factors. ● Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. ● Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. ● Ability to interact and build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. ● Ability to prioritize jobs as per the timelines. ● Strong commitment to achieving results. ● Excellent problem solver and ability to understand impacts of actions. ● Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team strong analytical skills, with emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy. ● Knowledge of business processes and systems. ● Teamwork spirit, good communication skills, and ability to work under pressure. ● Highly motivated spirit to learn and determined to solve problems with a positive “CAN Do" attitude. ● Strong self-development, self-education, and self-motivation abilities. ● Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
