Job Description
The commercial manager is responsible for formulating and implementing the company's commercial strategy in EPC projects and industrial equipment supply activities in the fields of precision instruments, electricity, mechanics and HSE. This position reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for managing internal and external purchases, negotiating with international suppliers, controlling logistics, mitigating business risks, and ensuring project timelines are met from a supply perspective.
This role requires complete mastery of project procurement processes, vendor management, contractual structures, Incoterms, international logistics and close coordination with engineering, project manager and finance sales teams.
Main duties:
Development of the supply and business strategy of the company
Management of domestic and foreign purchases of project equipment
Grand negotiation with foreign and domestic vendors
Checking and confirming business conditions (Payment Terms, Incoterms, Delivery Time)
Management of LC processes and foreign exchange payments in coordination with the financial unit
Supervision of international logistics and goods clearance
Supply timing control according to the project schedule
Evaluation and ranking of suppliers
Business team management and supply expert
Participation in the financial analysis of tenders from the point of view of purchase
Currency and commercial risk management in foreign contracts
Supervising commercial and purchase contract documents
Optimizing purchase and logistics costs
Providing management reports to the CEO
Eligibility conditions
Bachelor's degree or higher in business management, international business, industrial engineering or related fields
At least 8 years of relevant experience (at least 3 years at management level)
Complete mastery of foreign purchasing and international processes
Proficiency in business English
Experience in direct negotiation with foreign suppliers
Team management ability
Ability to analyze commercial and currency risk
Decision-making power under project pressure
Familiarity with the following is required:
Providing precision instruments, industrial electricity, mechanics and HSE equipment
Supply structure in EPC projects
Incoterms and international contracts
LC and foreign currency payments
Shipping and clearance documents
International logistics
Vendor warranty management
Coordination with project manager and financial manager
It is an advantage:
Work experience in oil, gas or petrochemical projects
Network of active foreign suppliers
Procurement management experience in large EPC projects
Familiarity with the structure of international tenders
