Chief Technology Officer

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Develop and drive technology strategy in line with the macro business goals, with a special focus on the applicability of AI in the product, operations and growth of the organization
Lead technical teams including Backend, Frontend, Mobile, DevOps, Data and Security
Design and oversee the macro systems architecture with a focus on scalability, sustainability, security and readiness for integration of AI-based solutions
Manage the technical roadmap and prioritize projects based on product, business needs and AI-based opportunities
Identify opportunities to use AI/ML, LLMs and Automation to optimize internal processes and develop new product capabilities
Evaluate, select and lead the implementation of AI tools, models and infrastructures tailored to the needs of the organization
Create and develop an engineering culture based on quality, ownership, documentation, innovation and intelligent use of new technologies
Work closely with CEO, Product and other managers to transform business needs into technical and AI-driven solutions
Oversee mentoring and development Technical leaders and building capable teams in engineering and data areas
Manage technical, security and operational risks, especially in the use of AI tools, sensitive data and privacy
Continuously monitor key technology indicators such as Availability, Performance, Delivery Speed, Tech Debt as well as productivity from AI
Required competencies and capabilities:
At least 5 years of experience in software development and leading technical teams
Demonstrated experience in the role of CTO, Head of Engineering, VP Engineering or similar position
Deep mastery of software architecture, system design, Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps Practices
Strong understanding of AI applications at an enterprise scale and the ability to make decisions about where to use AI
Working familiarity with LLMs, AI Automation, API-based tools and intelligent solution architecture
Experience working with Data / AI / ML teams or leading AI-based projects
Ability to make decisions at the strategic and executive level simultaneously
Strong familiarity with software security, data privacy, governance and requirements Scalability
Experience working with growing products and managing scale challenges
High skills in leadership, communication, problem solving and change management
