CAPEX Analyst (Vendor)

Job Description

● To liaise with teammates and line manager on work assignments based on the manager's requests to enhance and improve budgeting, capitalization process, and its tracking. ● To review and check vendor contracts/motivations/CR and update CAPEX management DB based on CAPEX governance framework and approved budget. ● To contribute to preparing CAPEX Budget and determine variances against plan. ● To communicate with PMs and relevant team to check project progress and required capitalization data for done jobs. ● To provide overall capitalization report and submit it to Fixed asset team based on approved SLA and agreed template. ● To prepare monthly capitalization report of delivered equipment by checking with relevant PM and send it to fixed asset based on approved SLA and agreed template. ● To reconcile capitalization booking by fixed asset on financial system with reported capitalization and resolve mismatches with fixed asset team and prepare required reversal. ● To control capitalization trends, investigate the reasons specifically on abnormal cases and determine variances against the capitalization plan. ● To investigate capitalization variance against cap from different information resources and report it to the CAPEX manager. ● To check if capitalization process is integrate and information is aligned with other team outputs. ● To prepare different reports and presentations on capitalization for the group and finance planning. ● To investigate CPU (Capacity Planning Unit), PMs, program control, and monitoring team also engineers reports alignment on capitalization and escalate issues to the manager.
