Description of duties:
• Continuous monitoring of new investment opportunities in the field of exploration and production
• Continuous monitoring of current business projects in order to identify new value creation opportunities in interaction with project managers
• Knowledge of the situation of competitors as well as potential partners in the market
• Formation and management of the investment opportunity assessment team
• Implementation of technical/financial/economic/legal evaluation of the identified opportunity along with related risk analysis in different stages of decision making.
• Preparation of opportunity shaping reports
• Preparation of field development plan, technical and economic reports and proposals
• Presentation to senior management for decision making
• Providing approved reports to the relevant employer and conducting necessary negotiations to complete the business decision regarding the opportunity under the supervision of the senior management of the business.
• Data-driven decision-making: Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making for use in business development initiatives based on market research.
Qualification conditions:
• 10 years of oil and gas work experience (5 years of work experience in the exploration and production industry is required)
• Master's degree or PhD in petroleum engineering
• Mastery of technical, contractual and economic negotiations
• Mastery of risk analysis of investment opportunities at different levels and optimization
• Ability and skill to make decisions and present to senior management
• Ability to analyze upstream oil and gas contracts
• Dominating the exploration and production market, market share of industry players and communication with stakeholders in the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Mastering the knowledge and principles of marketing and market analysis, how to negotiate with the employer, participate in tenders.
