Job Description

  • Prepare mechanical engineering calculations in support of building facilities design including heat load calculations, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics, static pressure calculations, equipment sizing, and selection.
  • Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by the discipline team.
  • Develop conceptual design, preliminary design, and final design documents which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, the development of Process and instrumentation diagrams, general arrangements, and sequences of operation associated with these systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues in a field or job site setting confidently, and provide instruction on how to resolve issues identified.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted office procedures.
  • At least 6 years of experience (design and construction of building facilities).
  • Sufficient knowledge of AutoCAD and Rivet and other relevant software.
  • Strong knowledge of the design and installation of heat and ventilation systems (Heating and cooling systems, ventilation, hoods and etc).
  • Strong knowledge of the design and execution of plumbing systems including water and gas supply, ventilation, firefighting, wastewater and etc.
  • Strong knowledge of the design and execution of fire detection, fire alarm, and firefighting system for the buildings. and Heat and Ventilation design and installation.
  • Sufficient knowledge of the design and execution of trash disposal systems, HVAC Ducts and etc.
  • Sufficient knowledge of the design and execution of pools, sauna, and jacuzzi gyms and etc.
  • Capable of effectively managing and completing multiple projects within a designated time frame.
  • Consulting engineering experience.
  • Advanced technology experience.
  • Broad knowledge of industry or regulatory codes and standards.
