We at GEP are expanding our accounting team and looking to hire a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated Bookkeeper to handle daily accounting operations and financial record keeping. Key Responsibilities:
Record all financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
Prepare and enter accounting documents (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, revenues).
Organize and archive financial documents properly.
Reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and internal funds.
Maintain official ledgers (Journal and General Ledger) in line with Iranian accounting standards.
Help prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Handle VAT, tax returns, and purchase/sales reporting forms.
Assist during audits and tax inspections when necessary.
Issue and follow up on client invoices and account balances.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles and Iranian accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Hamkaran System, Peyvast).
Familiarity with tax regulations, insurance rules, VAT, and SSO.
Strong attention to detail, accountability, and teamwork.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and general office tools.
