Requirements
Principal Software Engineer: We are currently looking for ASP.NET Software engineer who will help design and create platform services that are scalable and performant. The individual should have great communication and architecting skills to educate or lead fellow engineers towards better software and/or process. We value maintainability, performance at scale, reliability, quality, and simplicity. - Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems - Familiarity with the .NET framework - Proficient in MVC - Familiar with high transactional systems - Proficient in WCF with a good knowledge of implementing json-based web services - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming - Skill for writing reusable C# libraries - Familiar with various design and architectural patterns - Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C# - Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server - Proficient in Parallel processing, multithreading and distributed architecture - Experience with popular web application frameworks - Knack for writing clean, readable C# code - Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application - Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes - Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds - Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (tfs is preferred) - Familiarity with continuous integration - Good ability to maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects - Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax Familiar with IIS webserver
