Job Description

The treasury accountant is responsible for assisting in the accounting and administration of treasury operations. This includes managing daily cash flows, coordinating with operating systems and banking functions, and performing bank account reconciliations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Controlling distributor's bank guarantees and ensuring the proper follow-up and renewal of these guarantees.
  • Recording post-dated checks in the system and tracking them in alignment with the data recorded in an Excel file.
  • Remitting post-dated checks to the bank.
  • Controlling supplementary documents for payments, issuing checks, and accurately recording the payments in the ERP System.
  • Providing the necessary documents for customs bank guarantees, such as contracts and promissory notes.
  • Conducting document control, booking, and reconciling tasks related to treasury operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in treasury accounting, or accounting.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • High level of precision and accuracy in work.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Solid mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
