Job Description
• Review history of sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results, • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales and Marketing to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts, • Provide input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing products and new products • Monitor and report important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies, • Prepare reports and statistics related to the sales planning and forecasting function, • Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor and equipment availability, • Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production, • Ensure finished goods are dispatched with proper documentation, • Inventory control of branches according to supply chain policy to avoid any shortage regarding the minimum cost.
Requirements
• BSc/ MSc in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management or related fields, • At least 4 years of experience in production or production planning or demand planning, • Familiar with Supply Chain Management, • Familiar with Demand planning, • Proficiency in statistics and forecasting methods, • Strong analytical skill, process oriented and problem solving skill, • Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process, • Organizational and time-management skills, • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, • Good command of English language, • Ideal Age Range: 25- 35.
