Contribute as a valued member of the legal department to the development and realization of integrated business strategies and plans that ensure sustained growth and profitability.
Provide day-to-day legal advice to various departments of the tobacco factory including production, HR, logistics, etc.
Ensure timely delivery of legal services to the company about its operations matters.
Contribute to the compliance of the company with current legislation and internal BAT Pars procedures.
Draft, negotiate, and conclude written letters, memoranda, agreements, warnings, and/or other documents relating to all significant commercial transactions to optimize and protect the interests of the company.
Monitor and maintain compliance with all corporate governance and legislative obligations that relate to BAT Pars.
Represent Legal department on OLT.
Ensure compliance of BAT Pars with RM policy and reliable procedures within the scope of his/her role.
Assist the Head of Legal with reporting on legal matters.
Review the legal matrix and provide an update on new regulations related to Factory EHS.
Provide updates on changes to EHS regulations.
Revision of agreements (both local and international) and ensuring they are fully compliant with internal contract management procedures and current legislation.
Revision, assisting in the preparation and renewal of internal company policies and procedures.
Assisting line manager in preparation and sole preparation of claims to the counterparties of BAT Pars.
Assisting the HR department in the revision of internal orders, job descriptions, etc. Providing different legal consultancy regarding current labor legislation.
Assisting line manager in various matters, such as collaboration with external legal advisers in terms of litigation cases (commercial, labor, and customs-related cases), collaboration with labor office in terms of disciplinary cases assessment, collective labor agreement execution from a legal perspective, as well as in registration of land plot usage rights.
Requirements
A university degree in Law.
At least 2 years of senior experience in contract law (including a deep understanding of civil, commercial, and international commercial law), labor law; and customs law will be considered as an advantage.
Bar Association.
Fluent in English.
PC user: Microsoft Office, and web database management.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent negotiation skills with different levels of stakeholders (both internal and external).
