Job Description

She/he will play an important part in the industry by negotiating and drafting complicated contracts and agreements and making sure that the company’s business interests are adhere to, providing legal assistance, organizing various legal activities, completing them, creating legal documents and advising the clients or the organization on all the relevant legal issues. He/she is responsible for taking a lead role, especially during meetings, hearings, etc. A typical day duties: • Provides advice and guidance to management on a range of legal issues. • Attends meetings with joint venture partners or contract companies and negotiates legal and commercial matters. • Drafts, reviews and amends legal documents. • Instructs external legal advisors/specialists. • Keeps up to date with legal matters that affect the industry. • May act as Company Secretary Key Responsibilities The legal advisor is accountable for taking the day to day legal responsibilities and providing legal advice that includes all the aspects of the analysis, investigation and drafting process. He/she is responsible for providing support in discrete legal issues by advising the organization, drafting undertakings and structuring remedies for the relevant issues. This professional may also be engaged in helping to analyze and collect evidence and schedule staff hearings. To conduct legal analysis and research on various legal matters of the client or the organization 2. To provide advice on different legal issues and assist in drafting legal opinions, memoranda and other briefing documents 3. To be actively involved in preparing and drafting of different acts and legal submissions and draft the authoritative legal opinions as well 4. To conduct legal research by utilizing various resources and selecting the relevant material to analyze the legal information 5. To assist in reviewing the legal material and any other relevant documents and to identify the most important issues that need to be sorted out on a priority basis 6. To draw up formalities regarding the settlement of disputes and monitor the implementation of the legal clauses Providing general legal advice support and assistance (including legal opinions and legal research) to TPE Director on various legal issues (disciplinary, contract, Association, governance, risk management and contentious matters) related to the day‐to‐day business of TPE • Reviewing and drafting various contracts (e.g. Promoter, Organizer, Sponsorship, Media Rights ‐ TV/Internet production, broadcasting, distribution and related license agreements‐, Consultant, Agency, Agent, License, Products Certification, Employment, Work and Service, Sale, Merchandising, Insurance agreements and other legal documents • assisting in the registration of Marks and other applicable intellectual property & Conducting any oppositions and/or litigation related to such Marks and property • Analysing and monitoring the insurance portfolio of the (e.g. third party liability, Property, property and delegates’ insurance) • Interfacing closely with and advising the Administration staff (in particular with the Coordinators and their related commissions) on various legal queries arising out of their Work • Providing prompt and concise legal advice and specific solutions‐driven support to all departments

Requirements

About you: • You hold a law degree (Lic. /Masters) and ideally a qualification as an attorney or equivalent. • You have acquired at least 4-8 years of proven working experience in law and/or Contract law, ideally in an EPC or commercial law firm. You have strong drafting skills in English • You are capable of working independently and used to time pressure • You are self‐motivated, flexible, pragmatic and precise • You are service‐ and solution‐ oriented and you deliver on time • You have strong analytical as well as good communication skills • You have very good computer skills • You must be willing to work and travel time to time/ or weekends in connection with TPE Events /Requirements.
