Job Description
You are supposed to work as a senior Java developer in challenging Big Data projects. There are many nonfunctional requirements involved such as high availability, scalability, security and performance. Rate of data is really high regarding to both volume and velocity. You will use most industry known Big Data/NoSQL frameworks and contribute in an agile team to architect the product. The other mission in which you will help us is automation. The automation covers all aspects including all kind of tests, provisioning, monitoring and building the CD pipeline.
Requirements
We wish to have another senior Java developer in our team, who: - listens carefully, speaks clearly and provides creative solutions for challenging problems - knows the Java programming language in deep - writes effective, clean and readable code - tends to write less code in favor of DRY, KISS and YAGNI principles - Targets for simplicity, reliability and performance in designing the architecture - Designs according to the best known practices - believes in agile manifesto and develops with those rules in mind - is experienced with unit tests, automatic acceptance tests and performance tests - has a hand in automation and building continuous delivery pipelines - has deep knowledge on concurrency and distributed systems - is experienced with service based and event driven architectures - is familiar with NoSQL/Big Data concepts, frameworks and tools such as Hadoop, HBase, Kafka, Redis, Aerospike, Spark, ... - is familiar with provisioning and monitoring tools such as Ansible, Kubernetes, Zabbix, Promethous, ...
