Job Description

• Develop process flow diagrams (PFD) and process and instrumentation diagrams (PID) during proposal and project phase of work . • Complete data sheets and write a technical description as necessary to provide Sales, Estimating and Engineering with sufficient information to develop a proposal, cost, design and ultimately a purchase specification for the equipment components. • The Incumbent will have organizational responsibility for planning, coordinating, administering, and supervising the activities of the manufacturing process engineering function. • Works closely with staff to plan and design methods to maintain, improve or enhance existing manufacturing processes. • Responsible for development and validation of new production processes as well as upgrading existing production processes. Works with other manufacturing and engineering departments to ensure all new products are producible. • Assists in analyzing and reviewing manufacturing budgets, schedules, and production requirements to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources. • Develops and recommends revisions or enhancements to schedules, resource allocations, and production standard operating procedures.
