Senior Principal Software Engineer is a key role in enabling our company to reach its financial & marketing goals using innovative tech approach and developing internal business operation processes.
-The person in this role provides Technical leadership in all aspects of business, balancing the needs of employees’, users’ (or customers’), and stakeholders’ interests. Regarding company specifics as time goes on, the Manager’s duties will vary. Tech strategy building, security issues, team member mentorship, quality checks, new tech trends discovery and implementation, feedback study, MVP launching, and finding effective solutions for on-going tech difficulties are just the most common examples. This person works with various aspects of a digital product — development, UX, security, budgets, operational processes, and team coordination.
-Alongside the CEO, COO, Product Manager and other managers, the Senior Principal Software Engineer is responsible for maintaining the strategic focus of our projects and is in charge of turning a concept into reality. As the head of our technical department, they manage several development teams including those serving company’s technical needs. Therefore, one of the main responsibilities of this manager is hiring IT specialists, data scientists, and engineers. In addition to, organizing training activities for the tech department, self-education support, and team supervision. That is the reason why event management and mentoring experience, as well as a wide professional contact base, is a distinct advantage of our Technical Manager.
-Our Senior Principal Software Engineer works closely with the Product Manager with the primary goal of managing a tech team and making business critical tech decisions, such as tech design planning, product architecture layout, and development platform selection.
-Our Senior Principal Software Engineer is the public face of our tech department and may represent us at conferences, trade and other events that strengthen our corporate brand image. In addition, they are our point of contact with technical contractors and consultants.
-The Senior Principal Software Engineer is a position that in our business falls somewhere between technical execution and operational management. Hence, its crucial and expected that the Technical Manager to have advanced soft and hard skills.
*Length of Probation Period: 3 Months
*Working Hours: 40 - 60 hrs a week
*Occasional travel may be required
-Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; Master’s degree in information
-Over 5 years hands on experience in object-oriented programming languages.
-Proficient in C#. Familiar with .net core and Python, Linux environment, MySQL, Postgres, ELK Stack and Git.
-Familiarity with php will be a plus.
-Advanced tech skills in Digital product architecture building, MVP and API development and testing, corporate tech
-System administration, DevOps skills
-Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and IT Management is a plus point Skills and achievements
-experience in being as senior member of the technical team and have successfully built, recruited and managed teams of developers
-Have managed large scale IT projects and technology solutions across well-known organizations
-Have been responsible for IT infrastructure and App development
-Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
