Job Description

- Responsible for the management and leadership of a range of process improvement and process management activities - Activities managed include planning, performing, and implementing process improvement initiatives, in addition to ownership of operational processes - These initiatives may represent one portion of a larger project, or may represent a stand alone initiative or function within a work group or department - Process management functions may include data gathering and analysis, best practice research, process mapping, developing and recommending alternatives for improvement, developing performance metrics, obtaining leadership or stakeholder agreement, implementing improvements, and monitoring post-process improvement initiative performance to updated standards - Activities are undertaken and executed in support of organizational goals and are accountable for providing business process solutions to meet internal and external customer expectations. - Managing the schedule and budget of the projects, including scheduling, assessing and controlling the time and cost factors - Managing all general planning issues for a department or project. - Working closely with members of the board to identify risks and opportunities, implementing action plans to close gaps and captures opportunities - Developing demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function. - Preparing and maintaining relevant materials & reports to facilitate research and discussion - Analyzing inventory levels and product demands to determine reorder levels and safety stocks that will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs - Planning and directing an organization's strategic and long-range goals. - Conducting organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and to evaluate operational effectiveness. - Making recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, and internal business process improvement. - Facilitating the definition of guidelines and parameters required between functional units; sales, inventory, distribution, supply chain,… - Providing input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs - Developing and maintaining Forecast, master schedule and procurement plan based on history, seasonality and sales opportunities - Reviewing and updating forecast, production schedules and material requirements - Coordinate and plan materials requirements for new products - Generating and implementing ideas that improve indicators, in line with strategy department - Reviewing material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels to meet production requirements and propose changes when needed

Requirements

• Master college degree in business, planning or industrial engineering • Very good understanding of operational & planning process • Ability to read, analyze and interpret demand data • Experience in Sales & Operation planning and demand planning with an understanding of financial operational impact • Strong interpersonal skills: communication, decision making, and analytical, priority setting • On time commitment to deadline and ability to drive for results • Minimum 6 years in related field • Capable in overall situation analysis, at the micro and macro levels; risk evaluation and anticipation skills are required. • Excellent communications skills and problem solving capabilities
