Job Description
-Create and implement security standards, policies, and procedures. -Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches. -Plan security for special and high-risk events. -Support efforts to reduce substance abuse or other illegal activities in the workplace. -Prepare reports or make presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies and procedures. -Plan, direct, or coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property. -Assess risks to mitigate potential consequences of incidents and develop a plan to respond to incidents. -Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols. -Direct or participate in emergency management and contingency planning. -Write or review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives. -Develop or manage investigation programs, including collection and preservation of video and notes of surveillance processes or investigative interviews. -Develop, implement, manage, or evaluate policies and methods to protect personnel against harassment, threats, or violence. -Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement through auditing, review, or assessment. -Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.
Requirements
-Minimum 5 years of experience in the same position with proven track record in major companies. -Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. -Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. -Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. -Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. -Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
