Job Description
The pharmacist or chemist who accept this job, should capable to formulate oral solid dosage forms, such different type of (immediate, delayed or enteric and extended release) tablets and capsules. The R&D manger should solving the problem regarding to troubles happened in manufacturing line, e.g., capping, chipping, lamination, weight variation, mechanical properties in tableting such as compressibility and or flow-ability. He or she should manage his or her department and should train the colleagues.
Requirements
The education degree should be at least Pharm.D. or M.S. in analytical chemistry. The candidate should have 5 years working experience in formulation and CTD preparation. He or she should have skills in tablet and capsule formulation The R&D manger should be full expert in analytical tests such as HPLC, UV ... relevant to develop the concerned new products. He or she should be fully familiar with USP and BP. The R&D manager should be able to work Team Work. He or she should be expert in preparing the dossier or CTD format of new products for registration purposes. The R&D manger (formulator) should solve any problems regarding to Module 1, Module 2, and Module 3.
