Job Description
List of responsibilities: The Buyer / Expediter is responsible for performing procurement/expediting activities, as per TENDER Procurement Procedures/Requirements, to ensure the timely purchase/delivery of materials and equipment. Duties for the successful candidates will include:
- Evaluation and selection of Vendors/Suppliers
- Understand the Vendor’s Scope of Work and Supply as well as relevant required commercial/contractual requirements.
- Issue request for quotation (RFQ), expedite and collect offers from bidders
- Performs bid evaluations, contract negotiations and issue purchase orders
- Handling Import license (NTSW)
- Handling payment process through BANK and EXCHANGES according to rules.
- Expediting PO and Vendor Documents from first issue to final approval
- Update and review regularly the latest Vendor’s production progress and delivery status.
- Ensuring the compliance of supplier to the conditions of the purchase order
- Manage invoice issues and timely resolution
- Support and attend Internal & External meetings where appropriate
- Co-ordination for transportation and logistics and costumes clearance process.
- PO Close out work.
Reporting to: Commercial Manager.
Subordinates: BUYER / EXPEDITER.
Length of Probation Period: 3 Month.
Working hours: Saturday to Tuesday 8AM to 5PM / Wednesday 8AM to 4PM.
Travel requirements: Depend on Situation if required.
Gross Monthly Base Salary: Negotiable.
Commission / Bonus / Benefits: N/A.
