Job Description

• Manage international shipments/lanes to ensure supply chain fluidity to support sales teams and customers. • Monitor and resolve carrier issues related to door delivery, space and allocation. • Facilitate air shipment booking and monitor progress to final delivery. • Manage drayage companies, task for service improvements and drive savings. • Work cross-functionally with teams such as inventory management, distribution, transportation, sales, etc. to improve processes, establish procedures and deliver business results. • Lead a team responsible to prepare and approve export documentation. • Provide data analytics on the performance of the team and network via regular Key Performance Indicators. • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for key job functions. • Develop and deploy strategies that enable growth, improve costs, and ensure performance. • Lead cost-out projects.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 5-10 years of industry experience with a focus on Oil & Gas industry • Excellent knowledge about export documentation. • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience • Excellent collaboration and influence with management and cross-functional teams. • Ability to think on an enterprise level and be forward looking. • Demonstrated success in change management and organization transformation within a performance-oriented organization. • Excellent strategic and analytical skills, strong communication and presentation skills. • Proven leadership abilities, able to thrive in an ever-changing, complicated, and fast-paced environment, with the ability to work independently, multi-task, and be a team player. • Strong interpersonal skills, including ownership, diplomacy and flexibility, and the ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels throughout the Company. • Ability to explain difficult operational and logistics concepts in plain terms. • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent • Have strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
