Job Description

This position will involve supporting Exchange Server and Office365/Exchange Online administrator. This support includes but is not limited to installation/configuration of Microsoft Exchange implementation and management of Exchange high availability technologies (e.g. DAG s) Practical knowledge of SMTP routing Active Directory/LDAP and DNS Mail Routing Exchange and SMTP Troubleshooting IIS (Internet Information Services) Administration Troubleshooting Remote Server Application Mail Relay Backup and Restore Disaster Recovery concepts and Patch Management. In addition the position requires on-call after-hours production support and strong customer service disposition and sense of professionalism.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline and a -Minimum of 4 years of experience as Exchange administrator and experience as Office365/Exchange Online administrator -Experience with PowerShell scripting and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required -Knowledge of industry best practices for e-mail privacy and regulatory compliance, routing, filtering, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery -Knowledge of server installation configuration and management and support procedures for Exchange 2010 and later required -Exchange online environment -Power Shell Scripting -Database consistency checks -Establishing free space thresholds -Maintenance and troubleshooting -Database monitoring -Performance tuning -Ability to coordinate a debug session for an email issue across all components (server outlook desktop) -Dropbox -Produce procedural descriptive and other types of documentation that may be required -Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives. -Good knowledge of written and spoken in English
